Before I start to sound like I am starting a cult for EA’s you should know that I am a manual trader. That means I trade the old-fashioned way. I look at charts, make a decision then place a trade. But you simply can’t ignore the fact that EA’s are playing an ever-increasing role in the Forex market. I have a full-time person just working on EA’s. He works on converting some of my ideas into EA’s and helps develop and improve indicators that I use in my trading.
What I’m trying to say is this: there’s nothing wrong with manual trading, or using EA’s, come to that, there’s nothing wrong with using both. The only problem I have is whether or not the EA actually works. That’s why I like this Forex Robot World Cup. You can see what you’re getting and the whole competition is very transparent.
